Don’t Submit Your Articles If You Don’t Check These 3 Things First

Don’t look now, but modern communication technology is here and it’s based on information that’s hot. Getting people interested in your ideas or information and turning them into buyer’s is an old technique but it’s an effective one. People are discovering that article writing, submissions and publications are hot. If you are a writer or even if your not a writer, right now is the time to start becoming one fast.

Now with so many bells and whistles galore on the internet now it’s no wonder why distributing articles is getting easier. This is all fine and dandy but when we see people making the same mistakes over and over again you begin to understand why there is less success. For example this common mishap when submitting content to the directories:

1. Confusing the reason to promote the articles with the reason to write them.

In article writing, there are three key benefits why you are promoting them; branding, lead generation and promotion, which are all part of your optimization efforts. But there is only one reason why you write an article, and that is to inform your audience.

If the article is not focused on this primary and most important purpose, it will fail to achieve the three promotion benefits because no one will be interested in reading them. You need to figure out first how to get people to read what is in your article, then make them click on your resource box. You can achieve this by producing better contents.

2. Dropping the ball when it comes to article marketing and all of it’s opportunities.

You may know already that your articles can help you generate additional links back to your site. But do you know that you can get more visitors and better search engine results from that same articles? Mention keywords at strategic places. Just be sure not to overdo them. Some are even using anchor texts which is also an effective method. But it is important to know that majority of the directories are not able to support this.

Remember that it is not only about the links back to your site. Part of doing well in your article marketing is getting picked up by publishers with a large number of audiences and gaining the ability of leveraging other brands because of the quality of your work. Better search engine results also are great benefits.

But to put much more money in your pocket your going to need a plan. Make sure you see your plan through. Make sure your articles do what you intended them to do. You’ll want to turn your efforts into an increased opportunity to boost your earnings. As you’ll see it doesn’t do any good just to increase the number of visitors to your site.

3. What happens when there is nothing in the content for your readers.

I know it’s easy to say to yourself hey if I just put enough of these links out there I’ll make a ton of money, right? Wrong! Automatically accepted content is not the process of all article banks and directories.

Many of these article directories will have very special guidelines required before they will accept an article. I know what your thinking. That’s just a few so it’s all right. Well many times you can double or even triple your number of submissions by coming up with great content that these directories will be happy to include with their system. Let’s say one publisher has a readership of a hundred thousand or more. Do you think that would increase your potential audience?

You may have heard this before. Give a little, get a little. Give a lot, get a lot. When writing article it’s the same thing. The more you can give in the way of tip’s, or information, the more you will see in actual placements and audience acceptance. Also get more by sticking to the publisher guidelines, spell checking your articles, and researching the tops for best the information. You may even want to hire writer for a great article.

As with most things, in the beginning, a decision has to be made. Do I take the left path or the path to the right? Do I start getting a little exposure with back links on a small level? Or do I go for massive exposure and spend more time making great quality articles?

Once again, there are two types of articles. One is a highly targeted niche article and the other is just an article submitted to a directory. Which kind of article will you write?

Wouldn’t you like free content for your web page, then make a straight line over to Articles and get your fair share of free unique articles.
