I came across BUSINESS INSIGHT and MARKETING MANAGER 2.15 which ask you a series of questions about your business and products, analyse it, then generate a marketing strategy report. I just believe that there might be more impressive ones out there. If anybody knows of any other different from the two mentioned above, he/she should inform me.<br />

1)identify the two main purpose of the using the break-even analysis for marketing?<br />
2)when evaluating a company&#8217;s long term financial stability ,what financial ratios will provide the necessary insight to draw  a conclusion?<br />
<br />The two main purposes of using the break-even analysis for marketing is to (1) determine the minimum number of sales that is required to avoid a loss at a designated sales price and (2) it is an exercise tool so that you can tweak the sales price to determine the minimum volume of sales you can reasonably expect to sell in order to avoid a loss.</p>
<p>In evaluating a company&#8217;s long term financial stability, I would want to be sure it can survive in the short term so it should have a current ratio (current assets/current liabilities) greater than one.  Also, I would check its debt/equity ratio to see that it is adequately capitalized.</p>
